Peggy Sue Bearded Iris is a reblooming herbaceous semi-evergreen perennial with no bulb, spreading with rhizomes instead and forming a clumping habit.  Its long sword-like foliage fans upwards and sturdy stalks that hold the flower heads grow from the center of the plant.  The large fragrant ruffled flowers have pale pink standards and falls with orange-red beards, and bloom from mid spring into summer and again in late summer into fall.  Prefers partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
