Bigfoot Cleyera is a large fast-growing evergreen shrub with a strong, uniform, upright habit and dense foliage.  The new growth emerges light green and darkens as it matures before turning an attractive bronze-red in fall.  Flowers are insignificant. Prefers part sun and moist, well-drained soil.  Drought tolerant when established.   Bigfoot has good heat tolerance and improved disease and pest resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Shelter from strong winds.

 LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Rock Gardens, Foundational Plantings, Hedges, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Crape Myrtle, Fringe Flower, Holly
