Size

Mountain Snow Pieris is a slow-growing evergreen shrub with bronze colored new growth that matures to a glossy dark green.  The drooping clusters of flower buds emerge in summer and persist through winter before finally blooming ivory white in the spring.  Best bloom in part sun with slightly acidic and moist well-drained soils. Mountain Snow is pest resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance.  Water regularly. Remove spent flowers immediately.  Lace bug infections can be a serious problem. Watch for scale, mites, and nematodes.  Dieback and leaf spots are occasional problems.
