Lemongrass is a frost-tender evergreen perennial with a tall upright clumping habit and gently arching strap-like foliage. Prefers full sun and rich loamy well-drained soils. Lemongrass is aromatic when bruised and is used in cooking for its lemony flavor. Tolerates light shade.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Plant outside after last spring frost. Can bring inside to over winter. Spider mites can be a serious pest.
