Pink Mist Pincushion Flower is a compact basal-clumping herbaceous perennial with fine cut blue-green foliage. The soft pastel pink flowers have frilly outer petals with a domed center cushion bloom on stiff stems nearly year-round from mid-spring until frost. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils, but tolerates part sun in hot southern climates. Intolerant of wet soils, especially in winter. Deadhead to extend bloom.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Well-drained soils essential. Watch for aphids and whiteflies. Powdery mildew can occur.
