Dooley Hydrangea is a vigorous reblooming deciduous shrub with a mounding habit and serrated dark green leaves with no fall color.  Its lacecap flowers bloom on both new and old wood with color that depends on the soil PH - acidic soils produce soft true blue flowers, neutral brings on more purple tones, while alkaline soils produce soft pink flowers.  The flowers bloom in twice in summer attracting butterflies and pollinators.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
