Camellia japonica 'Pearl Maxwell'

Pearl Maxwell Camellia is an evergreen shrub with an upright growth habit and glossy, dark green leaves. The large, double soft pink flowers can be formal or semi-formal and bloom from late winter into spring. This plant thrives in part shade to full sun and prefers well-drained, acidic soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium maintenance. Camellias require regular watering, especially during dry periods, but does not tolerate waterlogged soil. Pruning after flowering can help maintain a tidy shape. While generally disease-resistant, it can be susceptible to pests such as scale and aphids, and diseases like root rot and camellia petal blight.
