Size

Scotch Moss is a prostrate evergreen herbaceous perennial with tiny chartreuse to yellow awl-shaped foliage along dense creeping stems that superficially resembles moss.  The soft foliage is spotted with small transparent white flowers in late spring and through summer.  Has more density in full sun and consistent moist well-drained soils.  Since Scotch moss is tolerant of light foot traffic it is excellent to fill in gaps between stepping stones and along pathways.
