Slender Hinoki False Cypress is an evergreen conifer shrub with an open-branched pyramidal habit. The graceful horizontal branches host soft deep green scale-like needles that bronze in winter. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water regularly but needs well-drained soil. Juniper blight, root rot, and certain insect pests can be issues if soil to wet. Shelter from hard winds.
LANDSCAPE USES: Specimen or Groups plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Garden, Foundation Planting, Hedges, and Containers.
