Ideal Select White Dianthus is a compact mat-forming perennial with tidy deep green foliage and sturdy hairy stems that do not flop. The densely packed pure white flowers have a spicy fragrance and bloom from early spring and can continue to bloom into fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water regularly. Deadhead to extend bloom. Crown rot may occur in poorly-drained soils.
