Cilantro is a herbaceous, warm season annual grown for its lacy, fragrant edible foliage (Cilantro) and aromatic seeds (Coriander).  Harvesting of greens while plant is still low can begin in 30 days, while the seed is produced in 90 days if flowers are not pinched back.  Grows best in full sun and well-drained soil.

The green foliage is used in Mexican, Indian and Thai cuisine to add unique spice and potentially alleviate uncomfortable gas.*
